Chile and Korea international cooperation agencies sign an agreement to establish a partnership for international development activities for third countries

Executive Director of the AGCI and Vice President of the Korean Interactional Cooperation Agency, KOICA, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for international development activities for third countries.

Santiago, November 2- Jorge Daccarett, Executive Director of the Chilean International Cooperation Agency, AGCI, and, Hyunsink Chang, Vice President of the Korean Interactional Cooperation Agency, KOICA, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Chile and Korea for international development activities for third countries.

The purpose of the memorandum of Understanding between AGCI and KOICA is to establish guidelines for cooperation between the agencies to promote economic and social development in developing or least developed countries in Latin America and the Caribbean and other regions.

During the occasion held in Santiago, Jorge Daccarett said the MOU "is a significant step forward between the experiences of KOICA and AGCI in trilateral cooperation matters".

This year, Chile and Korea celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations.
