Caracas, 2 de octubre.- Hasta hoy se celebra en la ciudad de Belice la "XXIII Reunión de Directores de Cooperación Internacional de América Latina y el Caribe" cuyo tema central ha sido la "Cooperación Regional en el Ámbito de la Seguridad Alimentaria", evento organizado por la Secretaría Permanente del Sistema Económico Latinoamericano y del Caribe (SELA) con el apoyo de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentación y la Agricultura (FAO), el Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para la Agricultura (IICA), el Fondo Fiduciario Pérez Guerrero (FFPG) del Grupo de los 77 (G-77) y el Gobierno de Belice, a través del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores.

Caracas, October 2- The "XXIII Meeting of International Cooperation Directors for Latin America and the Caribbean," whose central topic will be regional cooperation in the area of food security, is being held since yesterday in Belize City. This event was organized by the Permanent Secretariat of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA), with the support of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), the Perez-Guerrero Trust Fund (PGTF) of the Group of 77 (G-77), and the Government of Belize, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Lima, 2 de octubre.- Cancilleres de América del Sur y del mundo árabe iniciaron las deliberaciones de la Cumbre ASPA, que tiene por objetivo acercar a dos culturas ubicadas en los extremos del mundo, con el fin de fomentar el diálogo político y mejorar sus relaciones comerciales.
