The CARICOM-Chile relations spawned support to each other in international and hemispheric fora including to candidacies and a Technical Cooperation Plan of Action that covers several areas such as Agriculture, Spanish Language Training, Diplomatic Courses, Trade, Natural Disaster Management and South-South Co-operation.



In respect of the just concluded Third International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS), Ambassador LaRocque said that the Community looked forward to "the full support and assistance" of India at the multilateral level to advocate issues of strategic importance to small countries.
